Gekauft: 10″ Billig Tablet Odys Cosmo

Als Multimedia und Bastelorgan mal das Odys Cosmo bestellt und auch schon angekommen. Ist auch sogar mir Android 4.0.3 ausgeliefert wurden obwohl die meisten Leute noch auf das Update auf 4.0 ICS warten. Top!

owncloud nun live

Nach 2 Monaten intensivem Benutzen werd ich wohl doch bei owncloud bleiben.

Datei, Adressbuch und Kalender Synchronisation zwischen PC und Android Handy/Tablet funktioniert so endlich ohne google.

Auf Andoid Seite verwende ich fuer Kalender Synchronisation acal (play store / f-droid) und fuers Adressbuch carddav free beta (play store). Auf PC Seite Thunderbird + Lightning, fuers Addressbuch hat die Motivation gefehlt.

Return to castle Wolfenstein SP – Linux Problem sig11

So,

ich wollte mal wieder ein uraltes Spiel ausgraben und hab es versucht unter amd64 Linux ans laufen zubekommen.

Die Singleplayer Variante wollte einfach nicht starten, ich dachte erst wegen 64 Bit und was auch immer, es liegt aber wohl am binary von rtcw… .

Received signal 11, exiting…

Beim Starten wird die GL_EXTENSIONS Variable ausgegeben, und sie ist wohl nur 4096 Zeichen lang, weshalb es wohl bei neueren Karten zu oben genantem Fehler kommt.

Nach ein wenig rumsuchen hab ich auch gefunden wie man diesen Fehler behebt:

Die Datei wolfsp.x86 muss gepatched werden. Dazu mit einem hexeditor oeffnen und nach GL_EXTENSIONS: %s suchen. Das s durch ein Leerzeichen / blank erstetzen. Es empfiehlt sich vorher ein backup zu machen.

Danach wird beim Starten des Spiels einfach ein Leerzeichen bei GL_EXTENSIONS ausgegeben. Cooler hack!

So jetzt erstmal zocken!

Mein neues Spielzeug – Acer Acer Iconia Tab A100 :)

Nachdem mir Android so langsam doch gefaellt und ich auch recht zufrieden mit meinem cyanogenmod auf meinem Handy bin hab ich nun was neues zum Spielen.
